The 13-categories catalogue of motor vehicle parts and components that implement mandatory product certification includes: automotive and motorcycle lamps, rearview mirrors, retro-reflectors, horns, brake hoses, and on-vehicle recorders and body reflective markings. Fuel tanks, door locks and door retainers, trim materials, seats and head restraints.
In addition to the safety belts, motor vehicle tires, automobile safety glasses and motorcycle engines that have been previously forcibly certified, a total of 17 types of motor vehicle parts and their assembly products must pass 3C certification, obtain a 3C certificate, and be applied.
