Coastal port cargo throughput increased year-on-year

The reporter learned from the Fujian Port and Shipping Bureau that since the beginning of this year, the cargo throughput of the coastal ports of the province has continued to grow. In the first 10 months of the province, the coastal port cargo throughput was 4.163 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%.

From January to October, the total cargo throughput of the coastal ports of the province was 405 million tons, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year, 84.4% of the annual plan was completed, and progress was 1.1 percentage points ahead of schedule. Among them, the foreign trade cargo throughput was 174 million tons, an increase of 13.8%; the internal trade cargo throughput was 232 million tons, an increase of 4.6%; the container throughput was 10.4877 million TEUs, an increase of 9.4%; the domestic trade container throughput was 4.316 million TEUs, Increased by 18.0%.
