The German supplier Continental has opened a second factory in Wuhu to produce instrumentation and driver data system components, also known as human-computer interaction interfaces.
The plant has a total investment of 33 million euros (251 million yuan) and was put into operation in the first quarter of 2015. By the end of next year, 1,500 employees will be recruited.
In addition to the production line, the plant also has a research and development center for 215 engineers. The plant covers an area of ​​120,000 square meters.
The plant is 10 kilometers from the first company of the mainland company in Wuhu. The first factory mainly produces instrument panels, fuel pumps and starters.
