Therefore, establishing a leaf area meter as a convenient and accurate method for determining leaf area and dry matter accumulation, directing planting density and fertilizing levels, and rational irrigation and fertilization are very important in order to obtain high crop yields.

In the vineyard, a typical and representative vine is selected. During the different phenological stages of grape growth, mature leaves are randomly selected in different orientations, and the length and width of the leaves are accurately measured with a vernier caliper. The blades were laid on a white paper with a ruler, and the leaf area was used to obtain the size of the leaves. Then the imaged software was used to analyze the determined leaf area. At the same time, according to the upper, middle and lower layers of the tree crown, leaf branches were randomly picked up and the fresh weight was weighed. Then the sample was brought back to dry and the dry weight was weighed.

The correlation coefficient between leaf area and leaf length and leaf length and breadth is the highest. Due to the irregular shape of the leaves of non-nucleation white grapes, it is difficult to ensure the width and length of the grape leaves in the field without affecting the growth of the leaves of the plants. It is difficult to ensure the measurement accuracy and the vein length of the grape leaves is easy to live in the wild. In the case of measurement, the measurement accuracy using the leaf area meter is not affected by the shape of the blade.

Through the numerical analysis of the leaf area meter, it can be known that the dry matter quality of the seedless white grape is a good positive correlation with the long branches, leaves and leaf area. The correlation coefficient between annual tree trunk matter quality and the fitting of branch equations was the highest 0.897; the correlation coefficient between the correlation between the number of leaves and the number of branches was the highest 0.832; the highest correlation coefficient with the branch and leaf area relationship equation was 0.90, for the above data analysis are inseparable from the precise determination of the leaf area meter.
