New Holland Construction Machinery is a subsidiary of Case New Holland, which recently launched a 12D wheel loader in Brazil. The model will be produced at the Contagem plant in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and will be sold primarily to the Latin American market.
New Holland's product salesman Marcos Rocha said: "We have adopted a completely new design. The new hood is made of glass fiber and is equipped with side-opening wings for easy maintenance and inspection."
The 12D wheel loader is equipped with a MWM TD-229.6 turbocharged diesel engine and a powershift transmission with four forward gears and three reverse gears. The company stated that all the power generated by the engine when the driver depresses the brake pedal will be automatically used to drive the hydraulic system.
