The new operating system addresses the automotive market's growing demand for digital dashboards, heads-up displays, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and other in-vehicle applications with functional safety requirements.
QNX Automotive Safety Operating System 1.0 is certified for use in systems that meet the highest safety standards of ISO 26262ASIL D. Independent certification for functional safety standards provides a very high level of reliability and reduces risk when products are used in passenger car electrical, electronic and software-based systems.
