Romeoville general alarm fire 9-10-13

While on scene, I captured this fire that occurred at 322 N Fairfax Ave in Romeoville. The structure was a one-story frame building measuring 25x35 feet, built on a slab. Two lines were stretched from Engine 21 for fire attack. The responding units included Engines 21, 22, and 23, Ambulances 21 and 23, Battalion 21, and Chief 2101. Lockport Engine and Northwest Homer Ambulance were also on General Alarm. Plainfield Ambulance and Lemont Engine were on Command and Quarters. Lockport Engine 3 was assigned to RIT, while Northwest Homer Ambulance provided Rehab. Lockport Battalion 1 was on Safety. Fortunately, all occupants evacuated safely before the fire department arrived.
