A basement fire occurred on Tuesday night at 1515 W 55th Street in Chicago, where the 6th Battalion responded. Firefighters encountered intense flames in the basement that spread up through the plumbing wall and into the upper floors. Three hoselines were deployed, and Engine 39 made several roof cuts to ventilate the structure. These images were captured approximately 15 minutes into the incident.
