History of development
Single screw pump was invented by French engineer Moineau in 1932 and made by German PCM pump company. Three screw pump was invented and manufactured by the Swedish IMO company in 1931. China's Tianjin Industrial Pump Factory in the early 60's developed a high-pressure marine small-volume three-screw pump, and expanded to single, double and triple screw pump professional factory. Shenyang Pump Factory in the mid-60s development and production of double and triple screw pump, the success of the 1970s developed five screw pump. Tianjin Industrial Pump Factory in 1984 to introduce Allweiler's manufacturing technology and UK Holroyd's 2AC screw milling machine and ancillary equipment, China began to mass production of screw pump. After more than a decade of development since 1984, there are currently about 30 professional screw pump manufacturers in China. Major manufacturers are:

Materials and manufacturing technology
