1. Loosen the bleed screw on the fuel injection pump, use the fuel hand pump to remove the air from the fuel system, and fix the adjustment control handle at the throttle position suitable for the starting speed.

2. Press the start button to start the diesel engine. For example, 10 seconds (up to 15 seconds). If the diesel engine still cannot start fire, it should wait for 1 minute and then start the second time. If it cannot be started after three consecutive times, it should be checked and found. cause of issue.

3. After starting the diesel generator set, pay close attention to the oil pressure gauge reading (2.5-3.5kg/Cm2 during normal operation). If the oil pressure gauge does not indicate, stop the inspection immediately and check the current meter for charging indication.

4. After the unit is started, the no-load speed is gradually increased to 1000-1200r/min (note that it is not allowed to run for a long time at low speed). After the diesel engine is warmed up, the speed is increased to the rated speed. When the water temperature reaches 55 °C and the oil temperature reaches 45 °C, it is allowed to enter full load operation.

5. When the indicators of the diesel generator set are normal, you can close the load switch to send power to the load. If the load of the unit changes, if the frequency and voltage are not within the specified range, the frequency and voltage should be adjusted in time to keep it rated. 6. After the diesel generator set is put into normal operation, it should pay attention to observe the changes of water temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure and the readings of the power meter, frequency meter, ammeter and voltmeter at any time, and find that the abnormality should be dealt with in time. 4, compressed air start

Large and medium-sized diesel engines with a cylinder diameter of more than 150 mm are usually activated by compressed air. At present, the air distributor that controls the high-pressure air through the start control valve to the camshaft is mainly used, and then the air distributor supplies the high-pressure air to the start valve of each cylinder in the power stroke according to the working sequence of the diesel engine, so that the start valve is opened.
