Clay-type gold ore pool leaching process

Some small-scale clay-type gold mines, without facilitate beneficiation by heap leaching, the leaching is often used diafiltration pool dressing method. However, the leaching rate is 50-70 % lower by conventional pool leaching . This is because the cohesive ore is gradually squashed under the action of the aqueous solution in the pool, and the pores formed during the charging are mostly eliminated, the water permeability is greatly reduced, and the leaching effect is not complete. If the amount of clay in the ore is extremely high, even the pool immersion cannot be carried out. The process is to mix a small amount of dialysis material into the ore, stir it evenly and then put it into the pool, and then spray the leaching solution evenly with the spray system to prevent the slag of the ore in the pool, thereby improving the permeability and the leaching rate. In order to verify the feasibility of the process, several column immersion tests were carried out using conventional processes and the process, respectively, the latter having a leaching rate of up to 94 %, while the former is only 60 %. The leaching conditions for the column leaching test are similar to those for the pool leaching, and there is no risk in using this process.

Cost and profit assessment

The process requires only a few small pieces of equipment, even without any equipment, and the price of the relevant materials used is low, increasing only 0 per ton of ore . 50 yuan material fee. A small pool dip plant that processes 50,000 tons of ore a year can increase production by at least 10 kg of gold a year .
