This paper describes the results of industrial tests on flotation concentrates and re-election concentrates at a deposit in Siberia. These tests were carried out in a continuously operating vibrating vacuum pyrolysis apparatus under industrial production conditions. The vacuum pyrolysis unit was jointly developed by the Kazakh Academy of Mineral Processing , the National Institute of Rare Metals and the Central Asian Nonferrous Metals Scientific Research and Design Institute.

Vacuum pyrolysis treatment of flotation concentrate

The particle size composition (grain size, mm) of the flotation concentrate is as follows, % : +2.5-6.81 ; -2.5+1.6-5.5 ; -1.6+0.63-4.4 ,; -0.63+0.4-4.2 ; -0.4+0.315-15 ; -0.315+0.20-2.8 ; -0.2+0.16-4.6 ; -0.16+0.1-21.8 ; -0.1+0.063-21.7 ; -0.063+0.05-11.6 ; -0.05-15.1 .
