Moisture, traits, etc. The determination of the bulk density of corn can be carried out using an electronic grain container. The general method is to determine the bulk density of corn according to the methods specified by the national standard and the American standard after adding different proportions of impurities. It is found that the impurity content of corn has a certain correlation with the bulk density.

The preparation method of impurities: According to the measurement standards of China and the United States, the selected sieve impurities (BCFM), ie, broken kernels and impurities, were sieved using a grain selection sieve and a Carter sieve. Samples were pre-treated according to the national standard method and the bulk density was determined according to the national standard method. Three samples of samples meeting the requirements of the national standard were screened out with a sieve of grains, each weighing 1,000 g. According to the relevant standard methods, suitable corn impurities are prepared and added in proportions of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 30%, respectively, and mixed with corn. Determine the bulk density according to the national standard method and take the average of the measured values ​​of the three samples. When the BCFM content in corn samples is less than 9%, the corn bulk density is increased due to impurities filling the corn void, and the BCFM content is positively correlated with the bulk density in this range; when the BCFM content in corn is greater than 9%, the BCFM content and bulk density are. Negative correlation.

Samples were pretreated according to U.S. standard methods and the bulk density was determined according to the American standard method. Three samples of samples meeting the requirements of U.S. standards were sieved out with a Carter screen, each weighing 1,000 g, and a suitable amount of corn impurities was prepared according to U.S. standard methods, respectively, at 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 9%, 10%, Add 15%, 20%, 30% ratio, and mix well with corn. Determine the bulk density according to the American standard method and take the average of the measured values ​​of the three samples. According to the US standard test, when the BCFM content of corn samples is below 4%, the bulk density has a downward trend; when the content of BCFM in corn samples is between 4% and 8%, the corn bulk weight is increased due to impurities filling the corn gap. Large, BCFM content is in direct proportion to the bulk density. When BCFM content in corn is greater than 8%, BCFM content is negatively correlated with bulk density.

Although electronic grain weights can be used to determine the bulk density of corn, there are some differences between the two standard methods. The definition and extraction methods of impurities in corn bulk density measurement methods are different between China and the United States, so the BCFM content and bulk density There are differences in the criticality range of the correlation change.
