In the automobile society, car information should not be included in the credit system. The license plate number is an important component of car information. An effective credit system should be able to reflect the trustworthiness and morality of a citizen’s driving car. For example, information such as red lights and overtaking should be obtained by querying the license plate number.

In this sense, the number of a citizen’s license plate should be as long as the identity card number. Stolen vehicles should also use the original number as much as possible. In some cities, stolen vehicles can use the original number. For example, in Guiyang, owners can use the old number after they have cancelled or transferred their old cars.
