Zeng Shiyuan said that the Taiwan region is expected to introduce this product before the end of the year, and operators and local governments may have further cooperation plans to improve the quality of urban mobile broadband Internet access.
Ericsson pointed out that the urban population is growing at an average rate of 7,500 per hour. By 2019, mobile data traffic is expected to grow tenfold. These factors have increased public demand for sustainable lighting and increased operational capacity and coverage.
Ericsson pointed out that this model can accelerate the investment recovery period of urban infrastructure, make the upfront cost of installing and managing these systems more affordable, and thus reduce the city budget pressure.
