"Improper use" into a tire warranty shield

Customer: "My tires are bulging. I want to return."

Tire shop owner: "That would be the first complaint, then the manufacturer's appraisal. If it is really a tire quality problem, it will be returned. You should go home and wait."

Customer: "What? How long do I have to wait?"

Tire shop owner: "I'm not quite sure about this, 2 months, I will tell you when the appraisal comes back."

The customer thinks, two months I still buy 4 tires to change first.

Two months later...

Customer: "My tire complaints, manufacturers have results?"

The manufacturer's identification of your tires is due to improper use of personal drums, not quality problems.

Tyres are one of the most wearable parts of a car. When a problem occurs with a tire, “inappropriate use is not a reason for the quality of the tire.” This has become a shield for tire manufacturers to use as a legal liability. Manufacturers' various remarks allow consumers to deter from safeguarding their rights. Which way can they really solve the problem and become a problem for defenders?

Is it wrong with consumers? Or is there a quality problem with the tire itself? Who will identify? These issues have become the focus of disputes on tire consumption disputes. Increased consumer awareness of rights protection, increased tire complaints, and increased manufacturers' quality problems are the main reasons for the increase in complaints.

Who will do the identification? Once a tire is complained, it is mostly identified by the tire manufacturer. This is the most common practice at present. However, the test results are not recognized by consumers. It is tantamount to “identifying both the player and the referee” to allow him to identify the quality of his products. The result is not convincing.

Who is the fairness of the tires?

According to the survey, 58% of respondents stated that the quality of tires identified by third parties is most effective. 33% believe that the quality supervision department is the most reliable. They are the authoritative organizations for quality assessment and must be fair.

Only 9% of respondents believe that the tire manufacturer certification is effective.

Is there any problem with third-party appraisal? The quality of tires identified by a third party is also currently a problem. There are fewer authoritative third-party accreditation bodies identified; the costs of third-party appraisal are relatively expensive, and so on. Therefore, under normal circumstances, consumers can only passively accept the manufacturer's testing and appraisal, and it is more difficult to walk on the road to rights protection.

Some industry insiders have given suggestions: “The best solution is to issue laws and regulations related to tire quality appraisal; at the same time, increase the number of third-party appraisal agencies, or set up non-profit third-party testing agencies.”
