The first national seminar on the clean production technology and technical economic development of fine chemicals was closed on May 19 in Changzhou. The conference was sponsored by the Fine Chemicals Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. More than 50 research papers were received and more than 30 representatives made brilliant reports at the conference. The convening of this seminar has important guiding significance and promoting role for the clean production of China's fine chemical industry.
At the meeting, Academician Li Zhengming, Academician Zhang Hao, Prof. Wang Daquan, and Prof. Yuan Yuan were respectively on the creation of new green ultra-efficient herbicides, green cleaner chemical production and recycling economy, cleaner production and green high-tech fine chemicals, and green energy chemistry. Subjects such as chemistry made a report on the conference.
The delegates exchanged and summed up the achievements and experience of China's fine chemical industry in cleaner production, and conducted discussions on the hot issues, weaknesses and difficulties in the clean production of China's fine chemical industry. Delegates hope to further organize scientific and technological research and innovation combined with production, education, and research, especially original innovation, and provide technical support for shutting down and companies that still have pollution problems.
