Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals to build POM resin plant in Poland

Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals will build a highly wear-resistant, high-performance resin plant for automotive and digital appliance components in Poland. It is planned to put into production in 2010 and it is expected that the maximum investment will be 15 billion yen. This is the first time that the Japanese Chemical Company has started its resin production business in Eastern Europe. Japan's auto and motor manufacturers have successively entered the markets of Eastern Europe and Russia, and the investment in the raw material industry in emerging markets has officially begun.
The plan is to produce high-performance resin "polyoxymethylene." This material is superior in wear resistance and can be used as a substitute for metal for gears and switches in automobiles, as well as drive devices for digital home appliances.

Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals will establish a joint venture with a local chemical company in 2008. It plans to start producing 40,000 tons of polyformaldehyde annually in 2010. At present, Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals is investing more than 50% of its capital to adjust its policy. Mitsubishi Gas Chemical will receive the corresponding product supply in accordance with its investment ratio.

The plastic wrap with cutterbox rolls ranges in width from 12 inches to 24 inches. It provides an excellent cling and is comparable in quality to any food wrap offered on the market.

*Plastic Wrap With Slide Cutter- Same as the rolls in the cutterbox. The difference between the two is the slide cutter box is safer and easier to use.  The slide cutter boxes are more expensive, but a better investment when safety and efficiency are important. Slide cutter box rolls range in width from 12 to 24 inches. All rolls that come with the slide cutter are 2000 feet in length.
