Car fire in Chicago, 5-23-15

It happened in an alley behind 68th Street, east of State Street. The scene was chaotic, with flames shooting up from a minivan that had caught fire unexpectedly.

The fire department arrived quickly and worked to contain the blaze, which spread rapidly due to the vehicle's fuel tank. Witnesses said they heard a loud explosion before the flames erupted. Several people were seen running away from the area, while others stood nearby, watching in shock. Firefighters used high-pressure hoses to douse the fire, which took several minutes to fully control. This incident serves as a reminder of how quickly things can go wrong, and the importance of emergency response teams being ready at all times.
