Delphi Corp. Sales Total $16 Billion in 2011



Delphi, the auto parts manufacturer, recently announced financial reports for the fourth quarter of 2011 and the full year of 2011. Delphi reported sales of $3.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2011, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; net profit was $290 million, a significant increase from 2010 net profit ($75 million).

It is understood that throughout the year, Delphi’s sales totaled 16 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 16.1% year-on-year; net profit was 1.1 billion U.S. dollars, which was an increase from 2010's net profit of 631 million U.S. dollars. Delphi expects sales in the first quarter of 2012 to be between $4.0 billion and $4.1 billion, and sales for 2012 will be $16.2 billion to $16.5 billion.

Delphi entered China in 1993. Currently, Delphi's enterprises in China have invested more than US$500 million and have 14 joint ventures and sole proprietorships, including a holding company, a global R&D center, a technical service center, a trading company, and Home manufacturing companies have over 8,000 employees in China.
