The Mabas Division 24 had several Snorkel ladder trucks in service over the years. So far, I’ve managed to collect photos of all of them—except for the one from Tinley Park. If anyone has a picture of that one, feel free to share it with us. The Gary rig is actually the X-South Holland model.

These historic Snorkel units are a great reminder of how fire apparatus has evolved over time. It’s always interesting to see how different departments used these specialized trucks.
