Shanghai Automation Instrument No. 3 magnetic column (plate) level gauge is widely used in electric power, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, environmental protection, shipbuilding, construction, food and other industries in the production process of liquid level measurement and control.
 
Structural features of magnetic column (board) level gauge
1, magnetic column (board) level gauge structure
According to the principle of buoyancy, the float gauge moves up and down in the measuring tube as the liquid level rises and falls. The permanent magnet in the float passes through the magnetic coupling and drives the red and white columns to flip 180'. When the liquid level rises, the column moves from white to white. It is red, and when it drops, the column turns from red to white to achieve the indication of the liquid level.
 
2, the upper and lower limit switch output
The magnetic float moves along with the liquid level, so that the reed switch installed on the setting position of the level gauge riser is actuated to realize on-off control or alarm.
 
3, level meter remote transmission
Install the transmitter on the magnetic column (board) level gauge. Transmitter consists of sensor and transducer. It moves up and down through the magnetic float, through the magnetic coupling action of the measuring element in the catheter, to obtain the change of the resistance signal, summon the standard current signal output of 0-10 or 4-20mA. To connect with digital display instruments or computers to achieve remote display and control.
Magnetic column (board) level gauge assembly process:
1. Proximity of magnetic materials is not allowed around the body, and the fixation of the wire is forbidden, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the magnetic column (board) level gauge;
2. Non-magnetic materials, such as copper tubes, must be used when the user uses the heat tracing circuit. Heating temperature is determined according to the medium condition;
3. The magnetic tilt column (plate) level gauge must be installed vertically, and the ball valve should be installed between the magnetic tilt column (plate) level gauge and the container lead pipe to facilitate maintenance and cleaning;
4. The medium should not contain solid impurities or magnetic substances in order to avoid jamming of the float.
5. Before use, the ball below the zero position should be set to red with a calibrated magnet, and other balls should be set to white.
6. Open the bottom flange and install the magnetic float (Note: The heavy end has a magnetic end upward and cannot be inverted.);
7. When commissioning, open the upper pilot valve first, and then slowly open the lower valve to allow the medium to enter the main duct smoothly. (The media should avoid rapid impact of the medium on the float, causing fluctuations in the float series and affect the accuracy of the display.) Observe the magnetic red and white balls. Whether the flip is normal, and then close the lower lead valve, open the drain valve, so that the main catheter level drops, according to this method three times, is normal, you can put into operation (except for corrosive and other special liquids);
8. The main conduit should be cleaned from time to time according to the condition of the medium;
9. For level gauges over a certain length (normal type> 3 meters, anti-corrosion type> 2 meters), an intermediate reinforcement flange or ear climbing needs to be added for fixed support to increase the strength and overcome its own weight;
10. The position of the magnetic column (plate) liquid level gauge should be installed away from or away from the material media inlet and outlet, to avoid rapid changes in the local fluid of the material fluid, affecting the accuracy of the liquid level measurement;
11. When equipped with remote transmission matching instrument (UB or UK), the following items must be done:
a) The remote transmission matching instrument shall be placed close to the main conduit of the level gauge and fixed with stainless steel hoop (disabled iron);
b) The sensing surface on the remote transmission instrument should face and close to the main conduit;
c) The zero position of the remote transmission instrument should be on the same level as the zero indication of the level gauge;
d) The connection between the remote transmission supporting instrument and the display instrument or industrial control computer should be laid through the protection tube alone or be laid with a shielded two-core cable;
e) After the wiring box inlet hole is laid, it is required to seal well so as to prevent infiltration of rainwater, moisture, etc., so that the remote transmission matching instrument can not work normally. The junction box shall be promptly covered after the inspection or debugging is completed.
 
Magnetic column (board) level gauge installation use and maintenance
Magnetic tilt column (board) level gauge is based on the buoyancy principle and magnetic coupling developed. The working principle is that when the liquid level in the tested container rises and falls, the float in the main catheter of the liquid level gauge also rises and falls. The permanent magnet in the float is transmitted through the magnetic coupling to the red and white of the on-site indicator driving panel. Turn the post 180° flip. When the liquid level rises. The column turns from white to red. When the liquid level drops, the column turns from red to white. The red and white boundary of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level, so as to achieve the indication of the liquid level. Magnetic tilt column (board) level gauge with side-mounted magnetic column (board) level gauge, top-mounted magnetic column (board) level gauge, no matter what kind of magnetic column (board) level It is the same in the installation and use and maintenance, should pay attention to the following aspects:
1. The level gauge installation must be installed vertically to ensure that the magnetic float is free to move within the main conduit.
2. Shut-off valves shall be installed between the level gauge and the vessel to cut off the flow of the stream when cleaning and overhauling.
3. The surrounding of the liquid level gauge can not allow the proximity of magnetic objects, otherwise it will directly affect the work of magnetic tilt column (board) level gauge.
4 magnetic column (board) liquid level meter is generally not warm at the factory, but can be based on user requirements for insulation, such as the user must use non-magnetic materials when using heating pipes.
5. In order to prevent the magnetic float from sliding at high speed in the main duct during transportation, the float is damaged by impact. Generally, the magnetic float (board) level gauge is shipped with the float removed. The user installs the float after installation. Load in the direction indicated by the arrow, and use magnetic steel for correction. Guide the magnetic column once so that the red below the zero position is displayed in red and the white position above the zero position is displayed.
6. The magnetic column (plate) level gauge should open the upper inlet valve before putting into operation, and then slowly open the lower inlet valve to allow the liquid medium to smoothly enter the main conduit and avoid the liquid medium driving the float. Rising sharply causes the magnetic column to overturn or fail to turn over. If this is the case, the magnetic steel can be used to recalibrate.
7. When opening the bottom flange with a magnetic floater, it should be noted that the magnetic end of the heavy end is facing upward and cannot be flipped.
