The Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Department organized an expert to verify the achievements of the coking wastewater advanced treatment and reuse combined process development project completed by Shanxi Coking Group Co., Ltd. a few days ago. Experts believe that the combination of the pretreatment-Fenton advanced oxidation-electrodialysis desalination technology developed in this project has a strong adaptability to the influent water quality fluctuations, and opens up a new way for recycling coking wastewater back into circulating water.
According to reports, the project aims at the biochemical treatment of coking wastewater, using current-collecting active flocculation-electrical floatation-precipitation filtration, Fenton advanced oxidation, and electrodialysis desalination three-stage combination process to effectively remove COD and salt from the water, etc. The ion quality of the wastewater after advanced treatment reaches the water standard for industrial circulating cooling water.
