Weichai's first Boduan 6M26 electronically controlled diesel engine successfully ignited

This engine was jointly developed by the technical team of Weichai headquarters and the Baudouin technical team in France for nearly two years. It symbolizes that the Boduuan M26 series engine has taken an important step in the upgrading of technology, and it also marks Bodu. The R&D team and the technical team of Weifang headquarters have achieved phased results.

The Baudouin M26 series is a high-speed, high-power engine that is suitable for ship power. The displacement is mainly concentrated in 16-32L, filling the gap in Weichai Group's power segment. The 6-cylinder M26 electronically controlled diesel engine is a new member of the M26 series engine. The Chinese and foreign technical personnel of the project team have upgraded the engine from the aspects of increasing power, lowering emissions, and improving performance, greatly improving its product performance and application range. .

The design of 6M26 electronically controlled diesel engine was completed by Baudouin in France. During the project R&D process, the technical team of Weichai headquarters and Baudouin's technical team mutually supported each other and worked together. Both parties worked hard for the successful development of 6M26 electronically controlled diesel engine.

The reporter learned that after the successful development of a six-cylinder M26 electronically controlled diesel engine, the Weichai Group will launch a 12-cylinder M26 electronically controlled diesel engine in November this year. In 2013, the company will focus on the development of an 8-cylinder M26 electronically controlled diesel engine to comprehensively improve Wei Chaibo.
