Hey everyone,
Just got some updates from Josh Boyajian regarding recent and upcoming purchases for various fire departments. Here's what’s happening:
In River Forest, they’ve recently acquired a Smeal 105-foot heavy-duty quint. This impressive piece of equipment has already been purchased and is just waiting to hit the road. You’ll be able to see it on display at FRI this Friday and Saturday.
Moving over to Leyden FPD, they’ve finished up their 2013 Ford F-350 Wheeled Coach ambulance, and it’s all set to make its debut at FRI this weekend. Definitely worth checking out if you’re attending.
Bensenville FPD has also made progress with the acquisition of a 2013 Ford F-450 Wheeled Coach ambulance. They’re expecting delivery by the end of the month, so keep an eye out for that one soon.
Cicero is getting a brand-new Pierce Dash CF pumper. It’s currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in February. Exciting times ahead for Cicero’s emergency response team!
Bolingbrook has given the green light on purchasing two new vehicles: a Pierce Dash CF ladder truck and a Pierce Impel engine. These additions will no doubt enhance their operational capabilities significantly.
Chicago Ridge has ordered a 2014 Road Rescue medium-duty ambulance on a TerraStar chassis. That’s quite the setup they’re putting together there.
Wilmette has not one but two exciting projects in the works. First up, a 2013 E-One E-Max pumper is due for delivery in the coming months. Additionally, a 2013 Ford F-450 squad is being customized by Warner Bodies and should also arrive within the same timeframe.
Northfield is eagerly awaiting a 2013 E-One engine on a Cyclone chassis. Production is well underway, and they expect it to wrap up by the end of the year.
Broadview has placed an order for a 2013 E-One pumper. While the exact specifications are still unknown, it’s clear they’re investing in quality equipment.
Westchester is building a 2013 E-One 21-foot custom, walk-around rescue on a Typhoon chassis. This rig is expected to join their fleet by the end of the year.
Palos Heights FPD has also ordered a 2013 E-One pumper, though details about its configuration remain scarce at this point.
Gurnee is working on a 2013 Ford F-450 Road Rescue Ultramedic Type I ambulance. It’s currently in production and should be wrapped up by the end of the year.
Joliet has completed their two new engines and is ready for delivery—assuming they haven’t already arrived.
And finally, Fire Service Inc. has inked a multi-year deal with the City of Chicago for airport pumpers. The initial order consists of three units, each featuring E-One Cyclone custom chassis equipped with 2000 GPM Hale pumps, Fecon foam systems, 1000-gallon water tanks, and 250-gallon foam tanks, all housed in Salisbury Stainless Steel bodies. It’s fantastic news to hear that E-One products will once again serve one of the nation’s largest cities.
That’s all for now. Let me know if you have any questions or need further details!
Cheers,

Liquid material is pumped into the top installed centrifugal disc atomizer by mono pump and atomized into fine droplets inside the drying chamber. Meanwhile, clean hot air is blown into the air distributor at the same time. The evenly and swirly distributed hot air completely contacts with droplets for heat transfer. The droplets are dried into powder in several seconds and sucked out into the cyclone for discharging via exhaust fan.
LPG series spray dryer has been widely used in health products, chemical, feedstuff, ceramics, plastic and foodstuff industry for drying liquid material into fine powder.
