Here are some updated photos of Chicago’s Hazmat Company 5-1-1, based out of Engine 16. The unit, known as HIT 5-1-1, includes several specialized vehicles. 5-1-1A serves as the support vehicle, equipped with extra tools and supplies, while 5-1-11 is the mobile lab, featuring advanced equipment for on-site analysis. Notably, 5-1-11 also carries a robot designed for handling suspicious packages and other hazardous situations.

These images give a nice look at how the unit is organized and what kind of gear they have on hand. It's always interesting to see how fire departments adapt their resources to meet modern challenges.
