How does the gyratory crusher work?

The working principle of the gyratory crusher is shown in the figure, and its movable cone (ie, the crushing cone) is eccentrically mounted in a hollow fixed cone. When the mandrel OA rotates, the plain line of the movable cone oscillates around the point O, so that each of the plain lines sequentially approaches and leaves the plain line of the hollow fixed cone. The working principle is the same as that of the jaw crusher . When the movable cone is close to the fixed cone, the ore between the two is crushed; otherwise, when the movable cone leaves the fixed cone, the broken material is discharged by its own weight. The crushing chamber of the gyratory crusher is the annular space between the crushing cone and the fixed cone, so the material is also broken by the bending action. At any instant, a part of the material is crushed, and the part of the material opposite it is discharged downward at the same time, so the work is continuous.
