Excerpts from abc7chicago.com:
Following the tragic death of George Floyd, Chicago saw widespread unrest that led to numerous fires and acts of violence across the city. Law enforcement agencies, including the Chicago Police Department and federal authorities, are working together to identify those responsible for setting fire to dozens of businesses and vehicles during this chaotic period.
The scale of the damage was so extensive that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) was called in to assist with the investigation. Over the course of several weeks, the national response team reviewed hours of surveillance footage. On Tuesday, they released images from just 10 of the many fires that occurred during the weekend of unrest.
One of the incidents took place on May 31 at a City Sports store in Englewood, located at 65th and Halsted. Two suspects were seen entering the already looted store, where one used a lighter to ignite some papers on the floor. A similar scene unfolded a few miles away at a beauty supply store in Archer Heights, where a suspect poured a flammable substance over a counter before setting it ablaze.
During the unrest, hundreds of stores were looted and dozens of fires were set across different neighborhoods, from the Loop to the South and West Sides. In an effort to bring those responsible to justice, the Chicago Police Department, along with federal investigators, has released surveillance videos and photos of 19 individuals suspected of involvement in 53 of the fires that occurred between May 31 and June 3.
The CPD has made these materials available on their YouTube channel, hoping that public awareness will lead to arrests. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has also emphasized that these arson cases are part of a broader federal initiative to prosecute individuals involved in crimes committed during the civil unrest.

Gasification board or gasification groove is an auxiliary part of intermediate bunker, ash bucket, flat-based warehouse and cone-based warehouse. It is usually installed at the bottom of material storage warehouse or one side of ash bucket. By connecting preheated air during unloading, this equipment can fluidize powdery material which enhances fluidity of material. This will smoothen the unloading process and avoid particles arching or bridging.
