This message comes from Dan McInerney: I came across a training session involving members of the 13th Battalion near the 4000 block of West End, just west of 95’s house. E95 and 113 were there, along with T26 and T14, who were practicing roof operations under the supervision of the 13th Battalion. T26 had its main ladder raised, and T14 deployed a 40-foot ladder on the western side of the building. You can see members of T26 working on the roof in the background. I managed to take two videos and a few pictures before heading to work. The videos will be uploaded tonight or tomorrow, but here’s a snapshot of the event. Don’t forget, tomorrow is the big day for Hickory Hills. This tradition started years ago with the Justice Fire Department and has become a beloved local event.
