The Elmhurst Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 12, has recently been added to the site. The photos were submitted by Dennis McGuire, Jr. Notably, the department has undergone a significant visual transformation, switching from their long-time color scheme of white over school bus yellow with green stripes to a more traditional white over red. In addition, they have transitioned from E-ONE apparatus to Pierce vehicles, marking a new era for the department.
While the fire suppression units are staffed by career firefighters, the EMS units operate under a contract-based staffing model. This setup ensures that the department can efficiently manage both emergency response and medical services.

Before this change, Elmhurst had a variety of engines from American LaFrance, Pierce, Mack, and Darley. Their previous aerials included two 100-foot rear-mount ladders from Pirsch.
