Sany Develops New Car Crane Successfully on the Market

Recently, the Sany Group QY17 and QY52 truck cranes formally went offline and were put into small batch production. The successful development of truck cranes has also filled a gap in Sany Group.
As early as three years ago, Sany Group began to investigate and develop cranes. In 2002, Sany Heavy Industry Shanghai Research Institute began to set up a crane research and development team, and designed and prototyped a 25-ton truck crane prototype, which provided a large number of basic data for the later development of high-quality truck cranes. In July 2003, the crane research and development team gathered a group of industry professionals. After a year of exploration, a small number of 50-ton and 25-ton truck cranes were researched and developed. After a friendly customer trial, problems were discovered and improvements were made. The research and development of truck cranes gradually improves.
In early August 2004, the Crane Research Institute moved to Changsha headquarters from Shanghai. Based on the business strategy of “high starting point and differentiation”, the company decided to retrofit the existing QY16, QY25, and QY50 truck cranes into QY17, QY26, and QY52 models, and improve them. Improve the quality and configuration of new products, and strive to surpass domestic similar brands with excellent reliability and technical performance.
Under the guidance of this business strategy, the new truck cranes completed the design of drawings at the end of 2004. In May this year, they officially went offline and started mass production. The main parts and components of Sany new truck crane are all imported. At the same time, the flexible driving control system and the easy-to-operate on-board system, together with the unique technology such as stable double H-type legs, powerful telescopic arms, and new truss type jib, etc. The product has the characteristics of good workability, strong lifting capacity and easy operation, and it has formed a leading position in the domestic similar products. In addition, the dual-engine integrated use design of Sany new-type truck crane can use energy reasonably to create more value for customers.
At present, the QY17 and QY52 truck cranes that are in mass production have been sold, and the customers have responded well.
