Ball mill working principle:

The ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device with outer gear drive, two positions and a lattice type ball mill. The material is fed into the mill silo uniformly by the feeding device through the hollow shaft of the feeding material. There is a step liner or a corrugated liner in the silo, which contains steel balls of different specifications. The cylinder rotates to generate centrifugal force and brings the steel ball to a certain height and then falls. , Produce heavy blow and grinding effect on the material. After the material reaches rough grinding, it enters the second bin through a single-layered barrier plate. The bin is set with a flat liner and contains steel balls to further grind the material. The powder is discharged through the discharge sampan plate to complete the grinding operation.

At the same time as our company mass-produces, we have conducted a systematic study of improving the production of ball mills.

In general, there are three direct ways to increase the output of a ball mill:

1. Addition of a crusher before the ball mill;

2. Improve ball mill grinding system and improve grinding efficiency;

3. Add an efficient separator.

Ball mill use and scope of use:

The ball mill is the key equipment for crushing the material after it has been broken. It is widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractories, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation and glass ceramics, and other industries, the dry or wet grinding of a variety of ores and other abrasive materials.

Ball mill structure features:

This machine is composed of main parts such as feeding part, discharging part, turning part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electric control). The hollow shaft is made of cast steel and the inner lining can be replaced. The slewing bull gear is processed by casting hobbing. The barrel body is inlaid with a wear-resistant liner and has good wear resistance. The machine runs smoothly and reliably.

The internal structure of the mill refers to the liner, the sampan plate, the bulkhead plate, and the inlet and outlet devices of the mill barrel. The mill liner is mainly used to protect the cylinder body and avoid the direct impact and friction between the grinding body and the material on the cylinder body. Secondly, different types of liners can be used to adjust the movement state of the grinding bodies in each warehouse. The liners used by our company are mainly provided by the Hongxing Wear Research Institute. Its products occupy a considerable proportion in the international market and are delicately designed.

The use of ball mills in beneficiation:

Mineral processing equipment - The mined ore is initially broken by a jaw crusher. After crushing to a reasonable fineness, it is evenly fed to a ball mill via a lifter and a feeder, and the ore is crushed and ground by a ball mill. The ore fines developed by the ball mill enter the next process: grading. Spiral classifiers classify ore mixtures based on the principle that the specific gravity of the solid particles varies and the velocity in the liquid is often different.

The use of ball mills in aerated concrete equipment:

Fly ash (or sand, stone powder) is sent to the ball mill through electromagnetic vibrating feeders and belt conveyors, and the finely ground fly ash (or sand, stone powder) is sent to the slurry tank for storage with the fly ash pump.

Lime is fed into the jaw crusher for breaking by the electromagnetic vibrating feeder and the belt conveyor. The broken lime is sent to the lime silo through the bucket elevator and then sent to the ball mill through the screw conveyor. The material after grinding is passed through the lime. Spiral conveyors and bucket elevators are fed into the powder dosing chamber.
